2020, Borrego Springs, CA
Being given the opportunity to do a sabbatical in the desert of California was something I couldn’t pass up. The winter in the desert is a truly amazing visual experience. The works produced during this time were direct responses to my time in Southern California with its outstanding beauty, amazing light and incredible silence. There is so much joy and beauty in a place most see only as dirt and dust.
